Lucent/Ascend Data Extraction/Bulk Stats and K-Factor Analysis Tool in Production
WANDL has developed utilities to extract and automatically generate
BBDsgn data files from NavisCore/CascadeView, so that the current
network can be seamlessly imported into the modeling program with
little intervention from the end user. Traffic utilization data can
also be extracted from BulkStats for use with the Traffic Load
Analysis feature of BBDsgn. Using Traffic Load Analysis, K-Factor
recommendations are made by BBDsgn using algorithms based on suggested
trunk oversubscription settings by Lucent/Ascend.
