WANDL, Inc. Releases Version 5.0 of IP/MPLSView

Piscataway, New Jersey, July 03, 2007 - WANDL, Inc., developer of scalable network modeling tools, today announced the release of the 5.0 version IP/MPLSView.

IP/MPLSView Version 5.0 has been enhanced in areas specific to SLA monitoring and reporting through its Performance Management module. Additional enhancements are reflected in its Fault Management module which has been expanded to support new devices and notification mechanisms.

On the offline planning side, IP/MPLSView Version 5.0 brings the introduction of the BGP Peering Analysis Module. Developed in concert with one of the leading content providers, the BGP Peering Analysis Module allows the user to analyze the impact of adding new BGP peers based on import of existing router BGP tables. IP/MPLSView is the ideal platform for this module given its inherent scalability and functionality, as well as WANDL's expertise in this field.

In addition, new vendor device models have been added for the Huawei NE and AR Core Routers, the Cisco CRS-1 and GSR running IOS-XR, the Tellabs 8800 Multi-Service Router, and the Redback SmartEdge 800 Multiservice Edge Router. As well, WANDL has developed an integration bridge to the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 Service Aware Manager (SAM) which reflects the seamless transition between operations and network planning.

With the enhancements in Version 5.0, WANDL continues to position IP/MPLSView as the leading, single-vendor solution for FCAPS management. For more information on the extensive capabilities of WANDL network modeling solutions, visit www.wandl.com or contact info@wandl.com.
