The following expansion packs support service-specific templates, work order management, and service activation for the categories below.

These are commonly used in conjunction with the corresponding Modeling Packs from the
Design & Planning Suite.
The
VPN Modeling Pack or
MPLS-TE Modeling Pack,
for example, enable the user to create or modify VPNs or
perform automated tunnel creation and tunnel path design.
Configuration statements, or "configlets" for the desired changes can then be generated
automatically and submitted immediately in a work order for pushing to the network devices.
MPLS Traffic Engineering (MPLS-TE)
The MPLS-TE Provisioning Pack for traffic engineering infrastructure provisioning
supports provisioning on multi-vendor Label Switch Routers (LSRs).
Note: This feature is tightly coupled with the
MPLS-TE Modeling Pack, which includes
extensive automated, sophisticated MPLS LSP path design as well as automated MPLS configlet generation.

Layer 3 Virtual Private Network (L3VPN)
The L3VPN Provisioning Pack supports RFC2547/4364 BGP/MPLS IP VPN services.
Multi-vendor provisioning for L3VPN network components
includes user-definable templates and user-specified parameter files.
Also supported are Full-Mesh and Hub-and-Spoke topologies, as well as
both Intra and Inter-Area VPNs.
Note: Use with the
VPN Modeling Pack for
VPN creation, modification, and automated VPN configlet generation.
Layer 2 Virtual Private Network
The L2VPN Provisioning Pack supports VPLS LDP and VPLS BGP services,
as well as Martini and Kompella L2 VLL circuits.
Multi-vendor provisioning for VPLS and VLL network components include user-definable templates
and user-specified parameter files.
Note: Can be used with the
VPN Modeling Pack for
the creation and modification of VPLS services and VLL circuits.
