Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer
Interested in keeping up with the latest networking technologies, or working with router vendors and customers across the world? WANDL, Inc. is currently looking for talented, energetic system engineers to join its network management software team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with global customers, partners, developers, and other system engineers to design new software requirements
- Support selected accounts in North America, Europe, or Asia with technical support, training, and/or consulting. There are many opportunities for travel abroad, for which foreign language skills are a plus.
- Learn and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of WANDL's product line as well as knowledge of networking technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in software testing, regression testing, and routing protocol verification tests on router labs.
- Contribute in the preparation of presentations, training, marketing material, RFP's, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
- Sharp analytical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong team player, commitment to customer service
- Prior background in network modeling and/or routing protocols (such as OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and VPN) is desired.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in computer science, telecommunications & networking, engineering, or related technical field.
Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer
Network Management

WANDL is looking for experienced software engineers for its network management software team. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with good communication skills, able to work independently and in small focused teams, handle large responsibilities, interface with customers, and provide technical support when needed.
Required Skills:
- Solid programming skills in Java and/or C, C++
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent software design and analytical skill
Desired Skills:
- Database/SQL programming experience
- Web Technologies (JSP/Java Servlets)
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Networking/SNMP protocol experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Unix systems and shell scripting
- Familiarity with multi-threaded architectures, client-server/distributed systems
- GUI design experience (Java Swing)
Requirements:
- Outstanding academic background with a degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in software development
